Limits
Rate limits and other constraints on access to data.queria.io
Data access to data.queria.io is subject to the following constraints.
Rate limits
Anonymous access is rate limited. The limits exist to prevent abusive usage and encourage fair use.
| Access | Limit |
|---|---|
| Browser (the queria.io UI) | No limit |
| Anonymous (CLI / external tools) | 300 requests / 60 seconds (per IP) |
| With an API token | 3,000 requests / 60 seconds (per token) |
Only read requests for data files count. Catalog (metadata) reads are not counted, so ATTACH itself never eats into the limit.
Once the limit is reached, requests are rejected with HTTP 429 (the Queria CLI reports a “Rate limit reached” error). Registering an API token raises the limit. See Authentication for how to issue and register one.
Requirements
Reading the DuckLake catalogs requires DuckDB 1.5.2 or later.
