Download data
Download tables and query results as CSV / JSON / Parquet / Excel, or export them to Google Sheets
You can download Queria data as files straight from your browser. No preprocessing or extra tools are needed. File conversion happens entirely in the browser, and your data is never sent to Queria’s servers.
Where you can download
- The “Use this data” button at the top right of a table detail page: downloads the entire table you are viewing
- The “Download” button on query results: downloads the results of SQL you ran in a preview or a showcase article
File formats
- CSV: a universal format for importing into spreadsheet software and other tools
- JSON: suited for programmatic use. Tables with geometry columns are exported as GeoJSON, which GIS tools can read directly
- Parquet: a compressed columnar format, suited for handing off large datasets or loading into analytics platforms
- Excel: an xlsx file you can open directly in Excel
Exporting to Google Sheets
From the same menu, you can also create a Google Sheets spreadsheet directly — no file in between, so you can move straight to sharing and collaborating with your team.
- Select “Google Sheets” from the menu
- The first time, a popup opens asking for permission to access your Google account. Choose your account and grant access
- Once conversion and upload finish, an “Open spreadsheet” link appears. The spreadsheet is created at the top level of My Drive in Google Drive
If something goes wrong, check the following:
- If the popup was blocked, allow popups for this site in your browser settings and try again
- Tables with many rows fail to create when they exceed the Google Sheets limit (10 million cells). For large data, download as CSV / Parquet or consider the Queria CLI
Next steps
- View table details: check a table’s structure and statistics before downloading
- Queria CLI: to repeat the same extraction on a schedule or from scripts, a single command covers everything from exploration to file output
- Connection guide: query directly from external tools without downloading
- Attribution and licensing: check the conditions for using the data
