Signing in
How to sign in, and what to check when you cannot
Queria accounts are currently invite-only. If you have an invitation, you can sign in. For what you can use without signing in, see Accounts and invitations.
Signing in
The sign-in page at queria.io offers two methods.
- Sign in with Google — authenticate with your Google account
- Receive a sign-in link by email — a sign-in link (magic link) is sent to the address you enter. The link expires in 10 minutes
After requesting a sign-in link, the page confirms that the email has been sent. Check your inbox and open the link.
Even without an invitation, attempting to sign in places your email address on the waitlist. Once approved, simply sign in again to start using your account.
Choosing your handle
Right after your first sign-in, you are asked to choose a handle. This is a required step: you cannot go any further until you have chosen one.
Your handle is the name that appears in URLs. Once chosen, queria.io/accounts/<handle> is your public page, queria.io/datasets/<handle> lists the datasets you publish, and each one opens at queria.io/datasets/<handle>/<dataset name>.
- It starts with a lowercase letter and may contain lowercase letters, digits and hyphens (2–63 characters). Underscores are not allowed
- Names already in use and reserved names cannot be chosen. If you hit a reserved name, the page tells you so
Your handle cannot be changed later.
The pages you can open once signed in are listed under “Your account pages” in Accounts and invitations.
If you cannot sign in
- Right after your address is added to the waitlist, the page tells you so. Please wait until it is approved
- If you are already on the waitlist, the page tells you that you are registered and awaiting approval
- If the sign-in link email does not arrive, check your spam folder. Note that no email is sent to addresses that have not been invited (the page shows the same message either way)
- If the page says the account cannot be used at this time, reach out via the contact form
