Connect to the data
An overview of connecting to Queria datasets from BI tools and SQL clients
Queria datasets are published as DuckLake catalogs. Any environment running DuckDB 1.5.2 or later can access them directly from a wide range of tools beyond the browser.
If you just want the data as a file without wiring up a tool, downloading from the browser is the shortest path.
Which tool to connect from
- Download from the browser — export to CSV / Parquet / Excel / Google Sheets with no tool setup
- Queria CLI — go from exploration to Parquet export in a single command (see the quickstart)
- DuckDB CLI — run SQL interactively from your shell
- Python — pull data out as DataFrames with the duckdb package
- Tableau Desktop — visualize in a BI tool
- Analyze with AI agents — analyze by asking questions in natural language
Find a dataset to connect to
Browse datasets in the dataset list. See Explore datasets for how to search and filter.
The DuckLake URL used for ATTACH can be copied from each dataset’s detail page. Prepend ducklake: to the copied URL and pass it to ATTACH:
ATTACH 'ducklake:https://data.queria.io/e_stat/ducklake.duckdb' AS e_stat (READ_ONLY);
From “Use this data” → “Open with a tool” on a table’s detail page, you can copy a ready-made Queria CLI command or the initial SQL for Tableau Desktop.
